USCIS announced today that beginning on December 2, the premium processing fee will increase from $1,410 to $1,440 for Forms I-129 Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker and I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker.
Premium processing is an optional fee, which allows applicants to have their petitions adjudicated by USCIS within 15 calendar days of USCIS receipt. This fee is paid in addition to the regular filing fees associated with each application.
So, what does this mean for you? If you are filing an I-129 or I-140 petition, file before December 2, 2019 in order to avoid the fee increase!
