The US Embassy in Berlin confirmed that the US Consulates in Berlin, Frankfurt and München will cease routine consular operations from December 16, 2021 to January 10, 2021 due to the Germany-wide lockdown measures.
During this time, all routine visa, passport, Consular Report of Birth Abroad and notary appointments will be cancelled. For more information, please refer to the US Embassy Berlin's health alert.
If you have an urgent matter, you may contact the individual consulates to request an emergency appointment via email. These requests will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
