COVID-19: Executive Order to be Focused on Green Card Applicants

According to recent reports, President Trump's upcoming executive order temporarily barring new immigration will apply only to green card applicants and will last for 60 days. Temporary work visas will likely not be affected.

President Trump has said he will sign the order today, April 22, 2020, but has not released any additional details. Adomat Immigration is monitoring this situation closely and will provide an update as soon as more information is available.

Experts suspect that President Trump is enacting this order as a symbolic and political move before the November 2020 election to help strengthen his anti-immigration stance, which is popular with his base.
